Yonah Mountain Winery

I surprised my husband Jonah and I took him to Yonah Mountain Winery after we went to the Gainesville Spring Chicken Festival. We got there too late for the wine tour in their gorgeous wine cave. But that just gives us another reason to go back.

It’s stunning their inside and out.  They even had a live band.  A great way to end our day.

Fun Things in Gwinnett on April 29th 2017

This is weekend is my hubby’s birthday and we will be going to some type of festival. There are so many to choose from we haven’t quite nailed it down.

One strong possibility is the Happy Festival in Suwanee which will be filled with carnival rides and food trucks plus it’s was started by an awesome high school freshman with a heart of gold. Learn more http://happyfeat.org/

Binge Watching YouTube Videos

Today I’ve binged watched YouTube videos to learn more about editing, content creation and just trying to pick up tips as I create my own channel. One tip I picked up today and will be applying to future videos is that,

More is more when it comes to creating and editing a video!!

Take as many pictures and video footage as you can so that you have more options to work with as you create your final footage. I think for me it’s better to create short snips of video, do slower (and steadier) panning  and take a lot of pictures. So that I can get the desired effect for my videos

I plan to use these tips moving forward. My hubby’s birthday is this Sat 4/29 and we will be going somewhere fun and frugal. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you.

Starting my Blogging and Vlogging Journey

For years now I have fantasized about writing a blog and producing video and I never had the gumption to actually do it. So as I find myself without a job (yet again) I decided to dig deep and get the courage I need to put myself out their and share with the community that I have long been apart of. I have no more excuses and I have plenty of time.

For years I have watched YouTube videos and read blogs to enrich my life and create wonderful moments with my family. From reading blogs and watching I vlogs I was able to conceive my one and only child at the age of 34, I’ve learned how to make a smash cake, propagate succulents to name a few tricks I picked up…(I will share all the wonderful details with you on future posts). I am now excited to not only share my involvement but to contribute to this wonderful community of digital media.

It’s going to be a learning curve as I get to know the different software and equipment I need and I plan to share every bit of it with you. Today I posted a YouTube video about the equipment I am planning to use to start my channel.
